Land Acknowledgement

We would like to begin by acknowledging that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the unceded ancestral territory of the Mi’kmaq people. We also acknowledge the contributions of people of African heritage in Nova Scotia for more than 400 years. We pay tribute to and are grateful to our ancestors who came before us to make sure our history is not forgotten.
