Music in the Courtroom - Three for All

Three for All is a dynamic ensemble featuring guitarists Scott Macmillan, Daniel MacNeil, and Emma Rush. The three musicians each contribute a different flavor to the ensemble: Macmillan is a renowned steel string player with roots in Celtic music and jazz, MacNeil, one of Canada’s most versatile guitarists, specializes in world music traditions, and Rush is a virtuosa classical guitarist. The ensemble skillfully blends the voices of their different guitars to create unique instrumental sound. In concert you’ll hear original works by Macmillan and MacNeil, music from Spain and Latin America, sounds from the jazz world, and more. On stage Three for All combines energy and enthusiasm with technical mastery for a concert you won’t soon forget.

Deep Roots Music Festival 2026

Our 20th festival is gonna be amazing. With Matt Andersen headlining our Raise the Roof show to kick things off on Thursday September 24th, the music at Deep Roots 20 promises to be awesome. We are planning participatory workshops and a great community dance and of course our Main Stage concerts and Sunday’s Rise Up Singing. Our Saturday parade will lead us from the Clock Park to our festival tent at Waterfront Park (“World’s Smallest Harbour stage”) for free family entertainment. The food in our Festival Club – available to pass holders for a very low price – will be fresh and local and delicious! We’ll raise money for the local food bank, and support the Acadia students food cupboard as well.

Registration is required for the tour as we only have space for 10 people, so please give us a call at 902.852.2567 to reserve your place on the tour. A hands-free light is necessary or a flashlight. The 12th annual Nova Scotia Hiking Summit is a celebration of hiking culture. Held in a different community each year, the 2026 Summit will take place in Digby on October 1, 2, 3 and 4 (Thursday to Sunday). It will take place at the Digby Pines Golf Resort & Spa (103 Shore Road, Digby). Avid hikers, hiking clubs, trail groups, provincial government, municipalities and others will attend. An authentic 1940s Christmas dinner served by candlelight in our traditionally decorated Cookhouse. No turkey! The Heritage Village will be decorated with lights to enjoy a stroll down Memory Lane before dinner. Join us for a free A 'Musical Friends' Christmas Concert in the historic Clam Harbour United Church prior to the dinner. Menu: Roast Chicken, Summer Savory Dressing and Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Cranberry Sauce, Pickles, Plum Bread Plum Pudding or Carrot Cake with Rum Sauce and a Selection of Christmas Cookies Tea or Coffee

Musique Royale Concert & 'Inspired By Music' Dinner

Enjoy a Musique Royale Concert in the historic Clam Harbour United Church, with a performance by 'Three for All', a dynamic ensemble featuring three guitarists who skillfully blend the voices of their different guitars to create unique instrumental sound.
