| Description | Last year, we had 10+ volunteer groups selling 50/50 tickets at Halifax Wanderers games and it was a huge success - $30,000 being committed to the United Way Halifax Community Fund to support 35 community agencies in the Halifax Regional Municipality. This allows agencies to continue doing great work to combat things like food insecurity and homelessness in the municipality. United Way will contact the volunteer group 2-3 days before a match with reminders of location, timing & an update on the weather if needed. |
