Description |
Crohn’s and Colitis Canada promises to find the cure for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and improve the lives of children and adults affected by these chronic diseases. Camp Got2Go- a one-week overnight summer camp for children and teens living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis- provides campers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to interact and connect with other kids facing similar challenges. As Camp Assistant Coordinator, you will provide support to the Camp Coordinator on various tasks, including: • Serve as a representative of Crohn’s and Colitis Canada and Camp Got2Go • Assist in communicating with camper parents while at camp • Assist in communicating with camp staff and volunteers • Assist in communicating with the nursing staff • Interact with the campers and serve as a role model |

Time Commitment: • Be available on-site for the entire duration of camp, including all days and evenings/nights • Must be committed to serving for the entire week of August 13-18 inclusively at our campsite in Ayelsford, Nova Scotia • 1-2 hours of training beforehand |
