Position Swim to Survive Instructor Aide
Description We have just launched our Swim to Survive program for the 2019-2020 school year, aimed at getting 100% of grade 3 students in the water and learning water safety and lifesaving skills. Our program teaches students how to roll into the water and right themselves from a disorienting entry, tread water for 1 minute and swim 50 metres. The goal is that by teaching these skills, we are able to teach children how to save themselves and prevent drownings.

We're looking for volunteers who'd be willing to be teachers aides in the classes, providing classroom management and aiding in demonstration of skills. The time commitment is really up to you - we run programs nearly every day of the week across the city and throughout the province.
