Annual Volunteer Symposium

Every spring, the Kings Volunteer Resource Centre brings together volunteer leaders, nonprofit professionals, board members, and community changemakers for its annual Volunteer Leadership Symposium.

Designed to strengthen Nova Scotia's nonprofit and volunteer sector, the Symposium offers a full day of inspiring keynote presentations, practical workshops, and meaningful networking opportunities to help your organization thrive.

Each year features a unique theme and lineup of expert speakers who address the opportunities and challenges facing today's volunteer sector. Sessions focus on timely topics such as volunteer engagement, governance, leadership, organizational sustainability, community collaboration, equity and inclusion, fundraising, and emerging trends affecting nonprofit organizations.
