Digby & Area Community Gardens Society
The Digby & Area Community Gardens Society is a not for profit organization that was incorporated in 2014 with garden beds located beside the Don Brown Memorial Ball Field.
The beds we have available are 4’X8’ with on site water, growing material and compost area included with a small rental fee per season. We also have a gazebo for community events, plots reserved for community groups, like the daycare, and community beds where we grow vegetables that anyone can use. We deliver some food baskets to family service agencies. We intend to hold monthly seminars. We welcome volunteers for all these events and helping with the gardening too.
