Position Technician - HELP - Health Equipment Loan Program

Description Because of HELP volunteers, tens of thousands of Canadians who are recovering from surgery or illness are able to access health equipment that enhances mobility and independence, allowing them to recover from the comfort of their home. The HELP Technician cleans and maintains returned/used equipment, delivers and installs HELP basic and advanced equipment to clients in locations across Nova Scotia.

Documents repairs and maintains up-to-date equipment records in inventory management system

Training Details Full training is provided.
Good written and conversational English is required. Other languages are considered an asset
Working Conditions Starting with daytime shifts Monday to Friday
Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods
Ideally is able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
This position is aligned to National and Provincial Health Standards

Service Centres are located in Amherst, Truro, Antigonish, Sydney, Dartmouth, Bridgewater, Yarmouth and Kentville.
Minimum Duration 7 - 12 months
Timing Weekday - Daytime, Weekday - Evening
