| Description |
The purpose of the Events Committee is to provide advice and assistance in reaching the annual fundraising goals of Easter Seals Nova Scotia, with increased revenues, stability of revenue sources through sponsorship opportunities and participant satisfaction being of top priority. This includes the recruitment of sponsors, participants and marketing partners, as well as event logistics. The Events Committee is composed of staff, board members and community members with an interest in supporting the efforts of Easter Seals Nova Scotia’s fundraising events. Objectives of the Committee: to bring forth ideas for recruiting and increasing participation in fundraising events. Develop a strategy around having participants recruit and encourage others in their circles to participant in fundraising events. |
| Training Details | Guidance will be provided. |
| Working Conditions | Attending Zoom Meetings, in-person meetings (as required), assist onsite with event logistics as needed. |

| Timing | Weekday - Daytime |
| Time Detail | The committee will meet once every six weeks. Volunteering at fundraising events as needed. |
